Is Battlefield 6 one of gaming’s worst kept secrets? I’d say many fans would agree, seeing as footage seemingly keeps leaking out of closed testing sessions.
Over the past couple of months, more and more footage has been captured by players testing Battlefield 6, and while EA Games keeps removing them, and Reddit deletes threads, fans are getting a good look at the game.
The latest leak showed off the new Rush game mode, which has appeared in past iterations of the franchise.
Rush mode sees a team of attackers trying to destroy objectives while only having a set number of respawns, as the defenders try desperately to shut them down.

EA has said that the next Battlefield game will release by March 2026, and the new game has supposedly been in testing since March 2025.
The footage has since been removed from the Reddit thread where fans got a glimpse of 15 minutes of gameplay, but their comments remain.
“God, I love how this looks,” notes one potential player.
“This is giving BF3 vibes. And I love it. Gosh, please let this game be good,” said another long-time fan of the series.

The Rush mode has been a highlight in the series, and fans are eager to see this latest iteration in the upcoming release, with one fan exclaiming, “I hope it’s a permanent mode! Making Rush temporary in 2042 was so stupid. It’s a staple.”
Some are hesitant after thinking the new footage made the game look too close to recent entries in the Call of Duty franchise, however, this doesn’t stop the excitement for a new Battlefield game.
Here’s hoping that EA sees fit to officially announce the game soon, so that we can all start getting properly excited for it and eagerly watch the trailers over and over.
