PS Plus users can claim $20 worth of free Battlefield 6 DLC

PlayStation Plus users can claim free Battlefield 6 DLC worth $20/£18 just for being a subscriber.

Sony’s PlayStation Plus offers tonnes of games to play as part of the service. Of course, depending on which of the three tiers you subscribe to, you’ll have a wider selection of games, as well as trials, cloud streaming, a curated selection of movies and more.

Regardless of whether you pay for PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra or Premium, everyone gets online multiplayer as standard, along with regular discounts on games and free DLC. In the case of the DLC, sometimes it can be an exclusive cosmetic, in-game currency, or, in this instance, a whole DLC pack for Battlefield 6 that would typically knock you back $19.99/£17.99.

What’s included in the free Battlefield 6 DLC pack?

The ‘Tsunami Clash Pack’, which is compatible with the Battlefield 6 base multiplayer and the free-to-play battle royale, Battlefield: REDSEC, includes:

Does the Tsunami Clash Pack have an expiration date?

Judging from its PlayStation Store page, it doesn’t seem to have an expiry date. However, a previous free Battlefield 6 DLC is no longer available, so please keep that in mind. But you might want to claim it sooner rather than later, just in case. That being said, do not buy the ‘Tsunami Clash Pack’ on PC or Xbox if you subscribe to PS Plus.

The ‘Tsunami Clash Pack’ is also available on Steam and the Xbox Marketplace at its full value and not for free. However, if you subscribe to PlayStation Plus but also play Battlefield 6 and/or Battlefield: REDSEC on PC or Xbox Series X/S, don’t buy this DLC; claim the PlayStation Plus freebie instead.

Battlefield 6 and Battlefield: REDSEC are cross-play for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. With one Battlefield account, your progress is linked across all platforms, and so too is the DLC. So, if you claim the ‘Tsunami Clash Pack’ via PS Plus, you’ll then be able to access it on other platforms.

The latest multiplayer season for Battlefield 6 is live right now with Season 4: Pacific Front, which launched this week on July 21, and it’s the game's biggest season yet, bringing a whole host of maps, modes and unlockables.
