With the hopes that Battlefield 6 will reach upwards of over 100 million players, the pressure is on for EA and it seems as though fans will finally get a taste of the highly anticipated FPS as early as next month.
According to frequent reports over the last couple of years, it seems as though development for Battlefield 6 has not been easy for EA with the studio apparently costing over $400 million to make.
Nevertheless, as the next instalment in the much-loved FPS series, Battlefield 6 is still highly anticipated by fans and it seems as though they won’t have long to wait to dive in.
This news comes courtesy of the 1BF Telegram group as members there have discovered the news of a Battlefield 6 open beta inside the API on EA's backend servers.

If true, this means that a Battlefield 6 open beta will launch on 4 August or at least very close to this date.
Although this has not been officially confirmed by EA, we do know that the company is expected to officially reveal Battlefield 6 during a 3-day event later this month so it would not be too far-fetched to believe that an open-beta will go live soon after.
Not only that but the event hosted by EA is expected to open up pre-orders for Battlefield 6 but with the last few entries having their fair share of problems, many fans are feeling hesitant to sink their money into the game without seeing how it performs first.
News of a potential open beta follows a recent leak by Twitter user DooM49 who posted an image of a promotional package he had received from EA.

It revealed the title of the game as well as what look to be like game modes tilted ‘Conquest’, ‘Breakthrough’, ‘Rush’, and ‘PTFO’, the latter of which stands for “Play the Fu**ing Objective”.
It seems as though promo for Battlefield 6 is ramping up so it would make sense that an open beta is not too far behind and we may be getting stuck into the FPS as early as next month.
