One of Fortnite’s most divisive skins has returned in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, with the Kim Kardashian Fortnite skin making its way back into the Item Shop. However, not everyone is happy to see the celebrity skin return, with Fortnite players divided over its latest appearance.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override is finally here, bringing the latest major content update to Epic Games’ hugely popular free-to-play battle royale. The new Fortnite season introduces fresh events, major map changes, new weapons, gameplay modifiers and, of course, plenty of exciting crossover skins and collaborations.
Some of those collaborations include Sonic the Hedgehog, alongside Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Kingdom Hearts, Tetris, Pac-Man and Mega Man. These high-profile crossovers give Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 an impressive lineup of gaming icons for players to enjoy.
Kim Kardashian is back in Fortnite
Yes, as we’ve already mentioned, reality TV star Kim Kardashian is back in Fortnite once more. She made her debut in Epic Games’ battle royale in December 2025. However, it’s fair to say that not everyone is happy about her latest cameo as a skin.
“Epic, I promise you no one, except ‘sweats’, like this skin. This is your 50th time bringing it back. Give it a break,” pleaded Reddit user Known-Artichoke-2970.

“Why is this player base so obsessed with this skin? Like, who actually gives af?” asked BuffWobbuffet.
“Kim Kardashian pales in comparison to the mighty Eggman,” joked Dusty-Art.
“Bruuuuh she’s in the shop every two weeks I swear… I’m tired of seeing her,” exclaimed Silly_Stay0325, replying to a tweet from ShiinaBR.
“EVERY. TWO. F******. WEEKS. GODDAMN GO AWAY,” yelled GirlyGirlJaz.
“Again?.. I’m tired of seeing her.. I’m hoping that next season's older collaborations come back,” replied Mitsunai.
The skin actually isn't divisive because of Kim herself
If you're wondering why the skin is so divisive, as you've perhaps gathered, it's not actually anything to do with it being of Kim Kardashian at all.
She is a polarising pop culture figure, but the Kim Kardashian skin is actually one of Fortnite's best-selling.
That's probably why Epic Games has brought it back again - and precisely why fans are fed up at the same time.
It's true what the above tweets say. The skin is used by a lot of 'sweats' (hardcore players) so it's not a skin that's fun to come up against. It's also very, very frustrating to see the skin return weirdly often when other sought after skins go years without ever appearing again.
