The recent reveal of Battlefield 6 has shooter fans excited, though many have been concerned by the size of the game when it comes to fitting it on our console and PC SSDs.
Seeing the sprawling size of Call of Duty over the past few years certainly has most fans hesitant due to the gorgeous visuals shown in the trailer for Battlefield 6 and the franchise's long-running feature of destructible scenery.
A recent leak points to the size of the game on PC, and we can assume it will be similar when the game reaches consoles.
Battlefield Intel on Twitter has posted not only the file size, but also the PC specs players will need to get the best from the game.

According to the leak, Battlefield 6 will come in at a tiny 30GB, which pales in comparison to Call of Duty, which currently takes up over 300GB of storage.
This is just a cursory glance at the stats though, as further into the Twitter thread, Battlefield Intel’s source notes, “Let me be clear, friends, this 30GB is only for the beta. When the full game releases, I think it could be over 100GB.”
This would make much more sense, especially when we take into consideration that the game will feature several modes of play, including a battle royale.
The figure of over 100GB seems more reasonable, though we may also see Battlefield 6 move down the same roads as its competitor, Call of Duty, and allow players to install only what they want to play.

Perhaps, if you’re only here for the campaign, it will be a smaller file, but only time will tell on that one.
As mentioned above, we’ve also had a look at the recommended specs for PC players, and it’s a relatively reasonable 16GB RAM and an RTX 3060 Ti, though if you want the very best, you’ll need a serious rig.
