Roll up, roll up, it’s time for some “free” games. Although we’ve still not had any word on what PlayStation Plus’ offerings will be for September, it’s now been confirmed that Amazon Prime members will be getting a number of sweet titles headed their way - all at no extra cost, as part of their subscription.
Also free to all Assassin's Creed Valhalla players is the new Forgotten Saga DLC - check it out below.
As reported by Kotaku, beginning 1 September, Prime members will be able to grab eight games to download and play on PC. First up, we have the roguelike tactical RPG Defend the Rook, arcade platformer Castle on the Coast, and two point-and-click adventures - The Dig, and Word of the Law: Death Mask Collector's Edition. Also included is We. The Revolution, “a unique game with a singular art style set in the blood-soaked and paranoid world of the French Revolution”, in which you play as a judge of the Revolutionary Tribunal.

Some cool choices, no doubt, but it doesn’t stop there. There’s some extra big hitters here, too - Football Manager 2022, as well as Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition and Assassin’s Creed Origins will also be available. So, that’s two lovely, large adventures to get stuck into, as well as one huge time-sink in the form of Football Manager.
If you have an active Prime subscription, be sure to get in on these while you can - once they’re downloaded, you can keep them forever to play anytime, so there’s no reason not to.
