LEGO Lord of the Rings reveal roasted by fans: ‘we all thought it’

You shall not pee!

Gandalf vs Balrog is one of the most iconic fights in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, especially as it leads to the arrival of Gandalf the White.

Taking place at the end of The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring and culminating in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Tours, the fight between Gandalf and Balrog is memorable to say the least.

Despite fans believing that the fight resulted in the death of the two formidable characters, it later turned out that falling to his apparent death was not enough to keep Gandalf down and the wizard later returned sporting a brand-new look.

Before this, however, was the iconic fight and what better way to commemorate it than by turning the scene into a LEGO set, right?

Well, that is what LEGO has done by opening up pre-orders for The Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook.

Retailing at $129.99, this LEGO kit details the moment where Gandalf and Balrog stand face-to-face, with the wizard shouting the iconic line, “You shall not pass!”

At first glance, it looks epic ... but hold on.

Is Balrog peeing on Gandalf?

Well, that is definitely what it looks like from certain angles and it was not long before fans noticed the same thing and took to the comments to make sure they were not seeing things.

“I know they're in a fight, but why is he peeing on Gandalf?” one user asked.

Another added, “Ok good, it wasn't just me.”

User Justin summed it up perfectly when they said, “Thank you comments for confirming I'm not crazy. I know it's the fire whip but it really does look like the balrog is taking a p**s on Gandalf.”

It will most definitely create a talking point if you framed this LEGO set in your home but hey, what better way to commemorate one of film’s greatest moments?
