PlayStation has always been pretty cagey when it comes to sharing out its exclusives, and understandably so. PlayStation’s enviable roster of exclusive titles is perhaps the console’s biggest selling point.
That being said, it sure came as a surprise when just this week PlayStation announced that by 2025 almost 50 percent of its output will be to PC and mobile. It’s an area they’ve dabbled in before. Major exclusives like Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War were ported to PC several years after release on console, but there’s always been a large window of exclusivity first. PlayStation’s brand-new approach could already be in motion though as a PlayStation 5 exclusive looks set to hit Steam.
Astro's Playroom is another incredible PlayStation 5 exclusive. Did you spot all of these fun easter eggs during your playthrough?
Reddit user FireBorneFS recently spotted that Housemarque’s 2021 third-person roguelike shooter Returnal has been added to the Steam Database. It’s not yet available to buy and is listed under the codename ‘Oregon’, but it certainly seems to be coming at some point.
I’ve yet to come across anyone who didn’t love Returnal, yet it still feels like an underrated gem (you can check out our review of it, here). It’s by no means an easy game and you’ll likely find yourself having to replay levels over and over again; but we’ve all been playing Elden Ring for months so we’re hardened to this sort of thing, right?

It’s not yet known if the Steam version will include the recent Ascension update. Released back in March, the update added a hugely fun cooperative multiplayer mode allowing players to attempt to reach the top of the deadly Tower of Sisyphus. If Returnal does hit Steam, treat yourself and dive in. You won’t regret it.
