It's the genre mash up absolutely no-one was asking for - survival horror and dating simulation. Yet, it is very unexpectedly rumoured to be on the way. A trademark has been found in Canada which shows that Behaviour Interactive could be considering a Dead By Daylight dating game. While sparse on details, the idea of the thing is horrifying in and of itself.
Discovered originally on subreddit r/LeaksAndRumours by u/LongJonSiIver, almost nothing is revealed about the potential murderer-themed love fest save the name, which is remarkably punny. What Behaviour has decided to go with is... Hooked On You: A Dead By Daylight Dating Sim. Of course reddit is an anonymous forum so anything revealed here can be taken with a pinch of salt.

There is a little bit of evidence which lines up with the notion that this nightmare is in the works. A cameo in the survival game by infamous Silent Hill 2 antagonist Pyramid Head got what seemed to be a redesign back in August. While the developer said it only altered his costume to make it oh so revealing, fans were also convinced the change gave him a thicc cut booty too.
While redesigning James Sunderland's physical embodiment of his unconscious desire to be punished to make him very sexy isn't proof that a dating sim is on the way, there are more pieces to this puzzle. Around the same time that the leaks surfaced Pyramid Head's original designer Masahiro Ito tweeted "I wish I hadn't designed fxxkin Pyramid Head".
The developer has been frequently outspoken on his hatred for what Konami has done with his character. While originally tied specifically to Sunderland, since then Konami have attached the butcher to any game or merchandise which will have him. It seems the chance for fans to take a peek under Mr Head's apron took things a step too far.
