We can never get enough Soulsborne and fans of Bloodborne and Darks Souls get ready to jump aboard the Life of P hype train!
Developed by the South Korean team, Round8 Studio, we first got our look at Lies of P back in November 2021 and it got fans excited, especially those that enjoy being punished by developers FromSoftware.
Lies of P is said to be inspired by Pinocchio, however, don’t get this confused with the sweet and cuddly classic Disney animation. Lies of P is inspired by the classic Italian novel by Carlo Collodi and certainly looks to have a heavy dose of Bloodborne DNA.

In terms of gameplay, Lies of P is a third-person action RPG in which the player controls the humanoid known as Pinocchio. As well as intense and challenging gameplay, Lies of P will feature an in-depth crafting system which offers “30 different weapon types with 100 combinations. What’s more, it also features its own morality system called the ‘Lying System’ which can drastically change the course of your story resulting in one of three possible endings.
In Lies of P: “You are awakened by a mysterious voice that guides you through the plagued city of Krat - a once lively place that has been poisoned by madness and bloodlust.”
“In our Soulslike, you must adapt yourself and your weapons to face untold horrors, untangle the unfathomable secrets of the city's elites and choose whether to confront predicaments with the truth or weave lies to overcome them on the journey to find yourself,” says the developer.
