Pokémon Pokopia came out earlier this week, and players have already taken to sharing their best creations on the internet.
Pokémon Pokopia is essentially Pokémon’s take on the Minecraft and Animal Crossing formula, hence why it’s become such a big hotbed for community creations and custom content.
I’ve scoured through various Reddit pages, social media, and other corners of the internet to bring you nine of the best towns we’ve seen so far. Let’s dive in, shall we?
Cosy Village
This design shared by Reddit user Ok_Relationship_503 shows a cosy night-time village, featuring cobblestone streets and shallow ponds for a spot of fishing.
Also seen are a bunch of street lights for extra visibility when things go dark, something that I haven't seen as much of in other designs. It should mean those Pokémon are able to get around at night without much issue.

Mosslax Altar
Created by user AkiraQil, this design features a sacred altar devoted to Snorlax, now covered in moss beneath a bunch of really tall waterfalls. It’s an incredibly beautiful area which serves as the perfect peaceful addition to any village or town.
It's a great use of natural water points, and is something that doesn't necessarily feel out of place in a Pokémon game. I mean, we have shrines devoted to cats in the real world, so why isn't a Pokémon shrine completely out of the question?
2/7
Bulbasaur Boulevard
I love this one for its simplicity. On the surface, stardew92’s Bulbasaur Boulevard is a simple mountaintop farm. But if you look a little closer, you’ll see the buildings resemble Bulbasaur in their shapes, designs, and colour schemes.
It looks like a great spot to set up a farm, especially high up on a mountain where space is limited, and resources are scattered about a bit more dramatically.

Cosy Library
Designing a good Pokémon Pokopia town takes a lot of effort, and that effort begins in the home. Reddit user miss_acnh shared their first home in Pokémon Pokopia, featuring a tall library, open living space, and secluded bedroom for those extra cosy vibes.
I love this because it feels like that meme leftover from the Animal Crossing community, where players are found to either have a lovely decorated home or a lovely decorated island, and this one should satisfy users who are looking to build a good home.
4/7
Campfire Hangout
When you need a comfy little hangout spot, there’s no better place than beside the campfire with your best buddies. Riftus1’s adorable photo of a Pikachu and a Charmander napping by a roaring fire makes for a warm winter evening.
Pokémon have such fun personalities sometimes, and this photo is an excellent demonstration of that.
5/7
Overgrown Pond
Sometimes, it’s when you intentionally let an area grow over with weeds, vines, and other natural features that it slowly becomes an aesthetically pleasing environment. Choice-Bread-5872’s overgrown pond area looks incredibly beautiful in this regard, and is worth setting your eyes on.
6/7
Woodland Village
Created by X (formerly Twitter) user pluto, this town emphasises trees, wooden objects, and a less architectural approach to village design. It creates something a lot more reminiscent of games like The Legend of Zelda or Stardew Valley.
7/7
And that’s all for now in terms of what we’ve spotted, but as more people play Pokémon Pokopia over time, I imagine we’ll end up seeing a lot more incredible designs over the next few weeks.
