Red Dead Redemption 2 free downloads announced for September

It’s that point in the month when Rockstar Games announces what freebies are up for grabs in Red Dead Redemption 2, specifically the online component of the game.

If you’re a regular player, this is the point where you’ll get an idea of what your rewards will be for completing bounties each week.

As with each month, the rules to grab these freebies are simple. You just need to sign in and complete three bounties for the week.

Once you’ve completed three bounties that week, it takes up to 72 hours and your reward will be delivered to you.

Your Red Dead Redemption 2 rewards for September will be as follows:

For week one, 3-9 September, you can grab a beige ‘Morning Tail Coat;’ week two covers 10-16 September and you’ll get three Gravesend Bolas.

Then for week three, playing between 17-23 September your reward is 50 Shotgun Slugs; and for the final week, 24-30 September your freebie will be a brown ‘Boutell Hat.’

On top of these rewards, you can earn plenty more for playing.

Capture an infamous bounty to earn 3 Potent Miracle Tonics and 50 Split Point Repeater Ammo, or complete a legendary bounty to blag three Hawkmoth Bolas.

If you finish off your Bounty Hunter Daily Challenges for three days in a row you’ll earn a tan and black Leavitt Jacket, before 30 September.

That’s plenty to keep you going for a while and lots of great items to snag for your cowpoke.

With a big focus on bounty hunting in September, you can head out into the wilds to capture your prey and cash in big.
