Hogwarts Legacy Getting So Much New Content We Can't Keep Up

Hogwarts is growing quite the legacy

Hogwarts Legacy was a bit of a revelation when it came along, but the game's longevity has been stunted somewhat by the lack of official content from developer Avalanche Studios. There was a planned official DLC and the potential of a deluxe edition, but Warner Bros. pulled the plug on the endeavour as part of an "ongoing restructuring" of the company's game division.

Fortunately, Hogwarts Legacy fans have stepped in to fill the void, producing thousands of mods covering everything from tiny cosmetic changes to entirely new questlines, and they continue to do so over two years since the game's release.

We've had a look over the offering on CurseForge and there are several new mods that should add some extra layers of fun next time you log in to frolic as a fledgling wizard or witch.

The first is Sleep Mod, which improves immersion by adding a full day/night cycle to the game. Critically, it also adds some genuine gameplay change that back up the inclusion of time in the game. These include losing the attack indicator and not being able to sprint at night. The author has also pledged to complete a future update in which players get a buff if they go to bed in the common room between 10:00 pm and 12:00 pm.

The simply titled Elder Wand, adds a movie-realistic version of the legendary wand in place of your own characters usual fare from Ollivander's.

If you're looking for something a little bigger, check out Cinderwick Alley. This victorian street can be added to the game as an atmospheric location for players to add some artistic value to their photos or simply to explore in a quiet moment.

There are plenty more mods being added all the time, while some of the biggest continue to be updated regularly.
