May has arrived, prompting Xbox to sum up all of the many improvements it has made to its various pieces of hardware over the last month.
We’ll get to those improvements, but nestled within the post was a brand new opportunity for Xbox users to secure free store credit among other prizes.
In fact, you could walk away with $1,000,000 in cash, a Mercedes-Benz, or thousands of other prizes too.
Xbox is teaming up with Microsoft Rewards for this giveaway, which runs until 21 May.

All you need to do is head on over to the giveaway page, sign in to your account, and enter; it’s that simple.
In fact, you can actually secure bonus entries via running a daily Bing search, so that’s worth keeping in mind.

Just make sure that you’re signed into your Microsoft Rewards account when you run said Bing search so it’s actually tracked.
The giveaway is open to a wide array of territories across the world, but it’s suggested that you read up on the terms and conditions for specifics.
When you sign in, you’ll notice there are two different giveaway subsections, Daily Instant Win and Grand Prize Sweepstakes. Users can freely enter both.
Daily Instant Win is where those Bing searches come in, with users advised to check daily to see if they’ve won. It’s a self-explanatory name.
For the Grand Prize, you’ll need to wait until the sweepstakes has closed on 21 May.
When it comes to Xbox credit, $50 and $100 gift cards are up for grabs.
You could also nab an Xbox ROG Ally, a $100 Microsoft gift card, or a Copilot+ PC, just to name a few prizes.
The reveal of this giveaway was nestled within a recap of Xbox’s recent system updates across a range of hardware.
Improvements made on Xbox consoles landed a couple of weeks ago.
Users are now able to add more Groups on the home UI, add custom colours, alter Quick Resume settings, as well as make adjustments to User Selected Resolution and Network Quality Indicator, with Play History settings also having been improved.
On PC, Xbox Mode is rolling out on Windows 11 PCs having previously only been available on Xbox ROG Ally devices.
PC users can now also manually add games and apps to their Xbox Library, pin their favourite games, and reposition the notifications bar.
On mobile, wishlist alerts have been introduced on the Xbox App.
Finally, and perhaps most significantly, the Xbox ROG Ally and Xbox ROG Ally X can now make use of Auto SR, an upscaling technology teased last year ahead of the launch of those devices.
Xbox’s earnings may be down year on year, but it’s clear that new CEO Asha Sharma is hard at work rebuilding this brand that had somewhat fallen from grace.
