The Grand Theft Auto series is full of dangerous characters, but the one that gets cited the most is Trevor from Grand Theft Auto V.
He’s a naturally violent person, and because he’s so unpredictable, he’d be a nightmare to be around, regardless of whether you’re his friend or his foe.
Many are predicting he’ll return in Grand Theft Auto VI and finally meet his end. It’d only be fair considering what he did to Johnny Klebitz.
As dangerous as Trevor is, though, he’s tame compared to one of the lesser-known Grand Theft Auto protagonists.
Grand Theft Auto V certainly had some controversial moments. For instance, the infamous torture minigame was covered by mainstream media and slated for being too dark.

However, the older games like Grand Theft Auto III, or the top-down titles that started it all, featured much darker missions.

Reddit user exoticbanana123 highlighted one such mission in a post reading: “I know GTA is a game about crime, but this mission was f***** up on another level.” The image accompanying the post is of the dead body you have to transport in the mission Dead Skunk In Da Trunk.
The game’s protagonist, Claude, is asked to do this by Toni Cipriani, who later returned as the protagonist in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.
“Tony in general was f***** up”, replied thatdudepabloescobar to the post. This was then followed up by jasonensteinyt who said: “Considering in that one mission where he blows up half of Stanton, he's literally the closest thing to an actual terrorist in the series.
“Even Claude and Trevor are sane in comparison; Claude is only in it for the money, and Trevor is only doing his shtick if you get in his way.”
Everyone thinks Trevor was crazy,” added Maleficent_Cap_7228, “but they don’t know Toni, he’s the real psycho in the franchise.”
Like other Grand Theft Auto characters, Toni’s fate is currently unknown. He could be alive and leading a successful crime empire or dead in a ditch until Rockstar tells us, which it probably won’t.
It’s unlikely we’ll ever see him again in a mainline game, and there’s practically zero chance of him appearing in GTA VI.
Out of all the previous protagonists that could pop up in Leonida, Trevor seems to be the most likely. It would make no sense, but complete sense at the same time to hear he’d hopped into his plane on a bender and flown all the way to Vice City just because he could.
We’re imagining him finding himself in the wrong bar at the wrong time, bumping into Jason, potentially offending Lucia and finally meeting his end on the pavement outside.
