Will Poulter was mistaken for Sid from Toy Story by a fan during a strange bathroom encounter.
Yes, that’s right, Hollywood upstart, Will Poulter was seemingly mistaken for an animated CGI character from the ever-popular Disney Pixar movie franchise. I assume that the confused individual may have had one too many drinks.
Will Poulter began his career with humble beginnings in the 2007 movie, Son of Rambow, before starring in The Chronicles of Narnia live-action adaptation. He would also showcase his diverse talents in the 2013 comedy, We’re the Millers alongside Jennifer Anniston and Jason Sudeikis. Poulter was even a playable character in The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope.

However, it arguably wasn't until the critically acclaimed TV series Dopesick that he really grasped the opportunity to showcase his acting talents. Seriously, if you’ve not watched Dopesick, it’s on Disney+ and I highly recommend it.
Anyway, let’s get back on track. Then in what can be considered to be his biggest role yet, Poulter starred as the all-powerful cosmic entity, Adam Warlock in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3. So you’d think that by now, Poulter would be a familiar face and not to be confused with an animated cartoon character.
As reported by Deadline, Poulter told GQ: “A guy at a urinal in LA last week turned to me and said, ‘You’re in Toy Story, right?’ And I was like, ‘Well, that was animated.”
The actor continued: “I don’t want to be rude. I also appreciate there’s a meme going around of me—I dressed up as Sid from Toy Story for anti-bullying week. So arguably I haven’t helped my case. But [Toy Story came out in] 1995. I was two. And they weren’t doing it through live-action.”
Funnily enough, Will Poulter isn't the only celebratory with an apparent likeness to Sid from Toy Story. Former Aston Villa player and current star of Manchester City, Jack Grealish expressed his disdain for his likeness in FIFA 23.
