Warzone 2 players beg for this Fortnite feature to make the game more exciting

The second season of Warzone 2.0 is almost here, and fans are gunning for a popular Fortnite feature to be included in the game.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 has been received like Marmite. While some players have been thoroughly enjoying the sequel’s addition of proximity chat and all the chaos it brings, others have given up on the game already. Popular streamer Dr Disrespect even went as far to say that it’s "the worst Call of Duty ever”.

Take a look at some brilliant wins and fails from the original Warzone below.

The good news is that season two should hopefully make some significant, positive changes - 1v1s are coming back to the Gulag, and Resurgence is making a grand return. As Charlie INTEL reports, though, players on Reddit have got their sights set on a day and night cycle being added to the game. Popularised by Fortnite, many fans believe that it could add some much-needed spice.

“Imagine an actual day/night cycle that changed as the game went on. Imagine parachuting into Al Mazrah in the dead of night and the final circle has a sunrise in the background and everything is starting to light up? Imagine going in mid-day and the final circle ends during nighttime. Would be pretty cool!” wrote Pavlovs_Human. “Would love day/night cycle. Would also love some rain and thunder, sandstorms and fog. I know it's not realistic [though] but give us a reason to use those thermals! Would be cool if lighting fixtures could be destroyed too,” commented amiliusone.

At the time of writing, Infinity Ward hasn’t confirmed if this is a planned addition to the game. Season two for Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare II is set to launch (after a slight delay) on 15 February, so there’s not long to wait for that now.
