If you’re after a cosy adventure, you’ll need to keep your eye on this upcoming gem coming to all platforms very soon.

Highlighted on a recent PlayStation blog, Outbound is combing RPG adventures with cosy mechanics to steal your heart, and if the screenshots are anything to go by, this will be a wonderful journey.

Don’t worry, it’s coming to Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch, too, so no matter where you want to play, you can hop into your camper van and travel through lush countryside.

Players get to unplug from the grid and travel a colourful world where crafting is integral to living a sustainable life.

There’s definitely some Valheim in here, with the crafting and building, and the bright blue skies overhead, mixed with the delightful world, evokes memories of The Legend of Zelda.

The adorable feel of Outbound may very well appeal to those who love the Nintendo franchise Animal Crossing, mostly for the carefree life you will lead.

Speaking to PlayStation, the developers noted that early playtesters said they, “fell in love with the satisfying survival mechanics, like managing energy, gathering materials, and growing food, paired with the cozy, low-pressure vibe of living in the van.”

I’ll admit, if I had the option, I’d definitely run away from this world for a while, and live in the back of a van, moving from place to place.

The van here can be modified and expanded to ridiculous lengths in order to become your dream home, and the customisation will definitely catch the eye of cosy enjoyers.

Environmental changes will impact your journey and force you to adapt to challenges, adding a layer of difficulty to the experience.

There’s no release date listed for Outbound quite yet, but hopefully we’ll see more on this one soon and it will steal our hearts.
