Pedro Pascal has reportedly finished all of his scenes for The Last Of Us Season 2, and fans are getting nervous.

The live-action TV adaptation of The Last Of Us is a beautiful thing. It retold the story of the first game, hitting familiar story beats whilst expanding and reinterpreting it for new and old fans alike.

It’s no wonder the show was a smash-hit with fans, as well as the most successful show on HBO Max, even spurring on additional TV shows of other PlayStation IPs.

With that in mind fans have been not-so-patiently waiting for the show’s second season, which will reportedly follow the story of The Last Of Us Part 2, introducing new characters like Abby and getting rid of some others…

It was recently reported that Pedro Pascal, who plays the “hero” Joel in the series, recently finished all of his scenes for the show, and considering the season hasn’t officially wrapped yet that can only mean one thing.

Fans quickly ran wild with jokes about the actor, with one fan sarcastically saying “Wow he got done quickly, surely he’s going to be in all the episodes.”

Another followed up by claiming rumours state “he worked for 1 hour,” with another adding that they “can't wait to see him back for Season 3.”

Of course many will be laughing through the tears, though there’s every chance the show could throw us a curveball and prolong the character’s role in the series for just a little bit longer.

All will be revealed when The Last Of Us Season 2 drops sometime next year, though an exact premiere date hasn’t been shared at the time of writing as there’s reportedly still a lot of filming to get through.
