From the very beginning, I’ve said that ‘Conformity Gate’ is complete nonsense. And I think quite a few of you are now choosing to give up your delirium.
Placing your conspiracy theory to one side though doesn’t mean that you have to leave the world of Stranger Things behind.
There’s plenty more on the way. On 12 January, you can look forward to One Last Adventure, a documentary chronicling the making of Season 5.
Let’s not forget the animated Tales From ‘85 that’s on the way, set between Season 2 and Season 3, with a live-action spin-off also in the works. If you live in London or New York, you can see prequel play The First Shadow, which is excellent, plus there’s some great Stranger Things spin-off novels. I’m reading one now.

Did you know, however, that there’s also a Stranger Things video game that you can play for free with your Netflix subscription?
Stranger Things 3: The Game is exactly what it sounds like.

It’s a pixel art mobile game adaptation of Season 3, which sees players go alone or team up with a pal as they enter the Upside Down, also engaging in fights with plenty of familiar nasties in iconic Stranger Things locations.

Listen, I’ll be honest. It’s not the greatest video game of all-time, but it’s pretty fun.
Who doesn’t want to fight demogorgens in Starcourt Mall or reunite with Scoops Ahoy era Steve?
“Play through familiar events from the series while also uncovering never-before-seen quests, character interactions, and secrets,” the synopsis teases.
“This adventure game blends a distinctively retro art style with modern gameplay mechanics to deliver nostalgic fun with a fresh new twist.

“Just like in the show, teamwork is at the heart of Stranger Things 3: The Game. Fans can team up in two player local co-op to explore the world of Hawkins, solve puzzles, and battle the emerging evils of The Upside Down as one of 12 beloved characters from the show.”
Included Within The Cost of Your Netflix Subscription
As I said, Stranger Things 3: The Game is a mobile game available on both Apple and Android devices.
I sense that a lot of people don’t know that Netflix Games exists but it does within the cost of any Netflix subscription so if you are subscribed, you can download and enjoy this game for free.

I highly recommend having a browse of Netflix Games.
You should definitely give Oxenfree and Oxenfree II a go, if you haven’t played those on other platforms.
The series isn’t all that dissimilar from Stranger Things, actually. It features teens, a small town, and a threat from another realm, but I digress.
I’m convinced that a AAA Stranger Things video game is on the way, and the Duffer brothers have hinted at a secret project which could be one and the same.

For now though, this blast from the past is well worth enjoying.
