A new Star Wars release sees Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader reunite in an epic battle.

Two of the most famous characters in Star Wars media have clashed lightsabers several times over the original trilogy and in expanded material.

I don’t think any of us will ever forget the climax of The Empire Strikes Back, which saw Luke and Vader engage in combat over the clouds of Bespin.

Star Wars collectors and toy fans can now relive that epic battle in the form of a new two-pack release from Hasbro.

Star Wars: The Black Series Darth Vader & Luke Skywalker is a new collector-focused set featuring sculpts of Luke and Vader engaging in lightsaber combat in Cloud City.

It features six-inch scale versions of both characters, as well as their iconic red and blue lightsabers, a blaster, and a dynamic clash piece for added effect.

You can also find a platform for both figures to stand on, reminiscent of the one in the film where Vader delivered the iconic line, “No, I am your father”.

The release is retailing for approximately $69.99, with pre-orders live now via Hasbro. Shipping will be available “fall 2025”, and it’s recommended for ages four and up.

“This six-inch-scale Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker figure two-pack is inspired by the classic scene from the second film in the original trilogy – a great gift for collectors and fans ages four and up,” reads the product’s official description on Hasbro.

“Recreate the moment where Darth Vader reveals a frightening truth to Luke in Episode V with the included stand, featuring a base and railings modelled after the iconic scene in Cloud City.”

Part of Hasbro’s long line of Star Wars collectible releases, dubbed The Black Series, this release featuring Darth Vader & Luke Skywalker joins others such as Qimir from The Acolyte, Jango Fett, and Asajj Ventress.

Considering the fall 2025 release window, it sounds like it'll be a good one for those looking to pick up a Christmas present for a loved one (or themselves).
