Star Wars fans hyped as Han Solo and Chewbacca return for new release

The Mandalorian and Grogu are even coming along for the ride too

You know, if you asked the general gamer which game has the most nuts, varied cast of characters from different franchises they’d probably tell you it was either Fortnite or Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Both are great answers, yes, but there is a third option nobody ever seems to remember; Brawhalla.

This free-to-play game has one of the most stacked rosters in existence, as many of the base game champions have purchasable skins that replace them with characters from a whole slew of different franchises.

You’ve got Finn and Jake from Adventure Time, Master Chief and Arbiter from Halo, Hellboy, all four of the Ninja Turtles, Simon Belmont and Alucard from Castlevania, basically everyone from Shovel Knight, Lara Croft, and even Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and John Cena (to name just a few).

And now you can also add Star Wars’ Han Solo, Chewbacca, The Mandalorian and Star Wars Outlaws’ Kay Vess into the mix.

As revealed in a brand new trailer for Brawlhalla last night, the four characters will be available in game from December 4th this year.

They’ll also be joining the likes of Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader and Darth Maul - all of whom are already available.

Perhaps the best thing about this is the inclusion of the brand new “Companion” feature, which will see Grogu hanging out with The Mandalorian during battles.

Don’t worry though, you can’t actually hurt the little fella.

The trailer for the new update specifies that baby Grogu “can’t attack or be attacked”, although “he will react to the brawl by emoting and other actions.”

As per usual, the skins for these characters will be available through Brawhalla’s Battle Pass. Don’t worry if you don’t have the time to grind it however, as these skins are always available for purchase afterwards.
