Update 15/04/26 - Ringside Pass Season 2
The long-awaited Ringside Pass Season 2 has arrived, just in time for WrestleMania 42 weekend, otherwise known as “The Showcase of the Immortals”.
As stated in a previous update, any players who played WWE 2K26 before 15 April 2026 will automatically skip 20 tiers of Season 2, whether it's for the free tiers or Premium. So, you’ll get tons of new content and RXP from the get-go.
In the Premium pass, the featured DLC characters are: Ax, Smash and Crush of the soon-to-be Hall of Fame inducted tag team, Demolition, and they will also be joined by former WWE Divas Champion, Kelly Kelly.

In addition to the names mentioned above, there will be special MyFACTION Personas inspired by the Borderlands series, with new takes on CM Punk (Bandit), Rhea Ripley (The Ripper Queen) and Becky Lynch (Lilith). Each of the Borderlands-inspired moves and entrances will be available in Create-a-Wrestler. There will also be a host of new cosmetics, RXP boosts, move-sets and more.
As for the Free Pass, there will also be extra packs, cosmetics, and so forth, but also an updated Persona of Oba Femi (now with his hair down), inspired by his match against Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event on 13 December 2025, as well as a new Persona for Jade Cargill.
Ringside Pass Season 2 will launch today at 5pm BST/1Oam PT/1pm EST.

Update 30/03/2026
2K and Visual Concepts announced big changes to the WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass going forward, regarding the RXP grind, DLC characters, tier skips and more.
The Ringside Pass has been introduced in WWE 2K26, which delivers additional content throughout the game's life cycle. Here, I’ll update what’s included in the Ringside Pass and what future content we can expect.
Before we proceed, it’s perhaps worth keeping in mind that there have been some teething problems with the grind and RXP rewards. However, developers Visual Concepts have been updating and adjusting WWE 2K26 post-launch, and that will no doubt continue.
Original Article 18/03/26 - Ringside Pass Season 1
Traditionally, the WWE 2K series has delivered its DLC the traditional way, via DLC packs over the game's lifecycle, and it had a season pass that offered an overall discount compared to purchasing DLC separately.
The Ringside Pass is basically a season pass. By playing the various modes of WWE 2K26, you will earn RXP (Ringside Pass XP) and thus unlock additional content. RXP is earned across all modes, including Showcase, MyRISE, The Island, MyFACTION, Universe, and MyGM. You can now earn RXP in exhibition matches, courtesy of a post-launch patch.
It’s intended that the Ringside Pass is to provide a more constant flow of content and encourage the player to return to the game. As well as being a monetisation tactic, of course.
In total, there will be six Ringside Passes, and as I write this article, we’re in season one. There will be 40 tiers with a free and premium list.

Each premium Ringside Pass will cost £8.99/$9.99. You can also get passes ahead of time bundled with either the WWE 2K26 ‘King of Kings’, ‘Attitude Era’ and ‘Monday Night Wars’ editions.
The WWE 2K26 standard edition with CM Punk as the cover star includes no season pass, but does include the Joe Hendry DLC Pack. The ‘King of Kings Edition’ includes Season 1. The ‘Attitude Era Edition’ includes Seasons 1 to 4, and the ‘Monday Night Wars Edition’ includes all six seasons.
If you buy the standard edition of WWE 2K26, you can buy all six season passes bundled together for £44.99/$49.99. This makes a saving of £8.95/$9.95, compared to buying each season individually.
In the free tier, you can unlock content such as packs, in-game currency, new playable characters, cosmetics, create-a-wrestler parts, arenas, RXP and MyRISE boosts and more.
In the premium pass, you can get more of the same, but additional exclusive content, not available in the free pass. Each premium pass includes four exclusive DLC characters (the free pass unlocks loads of characters too). The premium pass includes everything in the free version.
Each new season will have a specific theme, for example, season one is inspired by the Mexican promotion, AAA and as such, the premium pass includes personas such as El Hijo Del Vikingo, Mr Iguana, Psycho Clown, and Flammer. It also unlocks additional WWE Superstars.

Along with the additional content that the Ringside Pass brings, here are the confirmed playable characters so far included in the premium pass:
Ringside Pass Season 2 - 15 April 2026 (just before WrestleMania 42). Ax, Smash and Crush (Demolition) and Kelly Kelly.
Ringside Pass Season 3 - June 2026. Matt Cordona, Torrie Wilson, Brian Pillman and La Parka.
Ringside Pass Season 4 - July 2026. Matt and Jeff Hardy (The Hardy Boyz), Jelly Roll (celebrity guest) and Lady Shani.
Ringside Pass Season 5 - September 2026. Danhausen, Bam Bam Bigalow, Brie Bella and Pagano.
Ringside Pass Season 6 - October 2026. Earthquake and Typhoon (The Natural Disasters), Royce Keys (formerly Powerhouse Hobbs in AEW), and Octagon Jr.
No, you will not lose your previous Ringside Pass season of content. Ringside Passes have no expiration date; you can access all previous content and can even jump between each season on the fly.
Yes, you can skip tiers; however, that can be very costly. For example, it costs £1.79/$1.99 to skip a single tier. Over 40 tiers, that will cost a whopping £71.60/$79.60, on top of what you’ve already paid for the game.
Additional information on the Ringside Pass content can be found here. Also, be sure to bookmark our WWE 2K26 ‘Locker Codes’ feature, which will get regular updates with free DLC to claim for a limited time.
WWE 2K26 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2.
