Star Wars fans can’t stand one of the biggest plot points in Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise Of Skywalker, and I don’t think anyone can blame them.
The Disney trilogy had some redeeming qualities, but ultimately dropped the ball when it came to the final film which felt like such a disjointed mess that it made Star War: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi look like Citizen Kane.
While there are too many problems with the ninth Star Wars film to list, arguably the most offensive of all was the weird Sith dagger that also doubled as a way of navigating the ruins of the Death Star.

The dagger had a hidden wayfinder that, when held up to the Death Star wreckage, told the team exactly where to search when looking for the Sith artifact they’d been chasing.
I think everyone agrees this was stupid, as it could have pointed them in a completely different direction depending on where they were standing when looking at the Death Star.
Fans hate it anyway, and have said as much in Reddit threads, writing, “The script was written backwards and the rule of cool went over the rule of making sense. Unfortunately they also failed at the rule of cool.”
Others joked that the film, by this point in the story, had more in common with The Goonies than it did with Star Wars.

“The force works in mysterious ways....But even this is a stretch... a dagger for the exact spot, when you are standing in the exact place.... Without even any other hints as to where to stand while you are looking at it,” added another.
Keep in mind this is a series where space wizards fight each other with laser swords and can throw rocks with their mind, but even this was too far-fetched for most viewers.
