You’d be forgiven for thinking that NSFW content and Pokémon don’t go hand-in-hand.

Look in the right (or should we say wrong) places and you’ll find a wealth of things you wish your eyes hadn’t seen.

Although this banned NSFW Pokémon trading card isn’t as graphic as some of the other eye-opening images we’ve been forced to see, it’s still fascinating to fans.

Will any NSFW cards appear in Pokémon TCG Pocket? We doubt it, but you never know

The banned card features a picture of Misty, naked, holding Staryu.

The nudity is subtle; while you can tell Misty is in a state of undress, you can’t see any specific areas of her body. Unless you count a bit of side boob.

Fortunately, none of the fans are lusting over this card. After all, Misty is an underage character, so that would immediately have alarm bells ringing.

Her age is part of the fascination, though. Fans can’t quite understand why a naked underage girl decorated this now banned card.

“Yeah def weird choice to have a naked child on a trading card ‘made for kids’. Adults be weird af sometimes,” remarked baseketballpro99.

It’s an unusual choice for sure, but it’s contributed towards making this card a desirable collector's piece.

“I've been wanting to grab one since I started collecting banned cards, I got a middle finger Sabrina not too long ago,” posted Cybershroom_Neforox.

User CasualGiraffeInPrada said, “Awesome card, nice pickup! Always love to see random banned cards.

“The banned card I’m saving up to buy is the Sabrina’s Gengar, with the crosses in the background, sorta looked like graves. Whole card is a genuine gothic vibe I love it.”

Much like the Pokémon TCG Pocket players looking for tricks to open free packs, collectors of the physical version of the TCG are always looking for rare surprises.

Even if you’re not a player of either rendition of Pokémon TCG, it's not difficult to understand why this banned card is a highly sought after item.

It intrigues fans because of its odd choice of subject matter, and will forever be seen as a rarity worthy of discussion.
