Fans think they’ve found the perfect Ghost Rider for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, following reports of a recent “leak”... and stop me if you think you’ve heard this casting choice before.
As revealed by MCU Film News, per well-known leaker DanielRPK, Ryan Gosling is supposedly being considered for the role of Ghost Rider in the MCU.
Now, we don’t know which version of Ghost Rider he’s apparently being considered for, but most are assuming that he’d play Danny Ketch (mostly just because he and Gosling look kind of similar).
However, even knowing so little about the potential character he’d play… fans are still pretty excited about the prospect, based on the comments on MCU Film News’ post.

“He’s made for it,” commented user @YoshuaA13, “Looks exactly like Danny in the comics. He’s a phenomenal actor.”
“Ryan Gosling as Ghost Rider? Insane choice!” replied user @yashhhhfr, “He’d bring the perfect mix of grit and style. Marvel, make it happen!”
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about Gosling potentially playing Ghost Rider either, as when Gosling himself was asked if he’d like to take on the role in the past, he replied, “I would love to, it would be amazing.”
Captain America: Brave New World is the next MCU project to land.
And, he has Kevin Feige’s approval too. When the idea was floated to Feige some time ago that Gosling was interested, he stated, “Hey man, if Ryan wants to be Ghost Rider...Gosling’s unbelievable. Ryan is amazing. I'd love to find a place for him in the MCU."
Now, here’s the issue - the fella that leaked this, DanielRPK, has been saying this for years.
Not an exaggeration. He’s probably made about five separate posts detailing the “leak” over the past few years.
That’s not to say that the leak is fake, quite the opposite actually. I’d be surprised if Gosling hasn’t been in talks for the role for quite some time now.
But he’s a busy man. He’s not exactly short on offers. I can’t see him committing to something long-term in the MCU, but as a cameo in Avengers: Doomsday? Now that I could see.
