Now that The Fantastic Four: First Steps is finally in cinemas, millions of fans worldwide will be rushing to see the first movie welcoming Marvel’s Phase Six.
However, as with any new release in this day and age, one of the movie’s most shocking moments has already been shared online with one fan even posting a screenshot of the scene in question.
Although it should be a punishable offence to take photos in the cinema, it is too late and images of The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ post-credits scene has been shared over on r/LeaksAndRumours.
Yesterday we reported that the brand-new entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe actually has two post-credit scenes: one that is more light-hearted and the one which we are going to be talking about today.

So without further ado, let us get into it but, of course, be aware of spoilers.
At the end of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, we can see our first glimpse of none other than Doctor Doom himself who appears to talk to Franklin, the child of Mister Fantastic and Sue Storm.
We now know that this child is extremely powerful although we do not yet know the extent of his powers so maybe Doom knows something we don’t and is trying to recruit Franklin in some way.
We already know that Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., will be the main antagonist in Avengers: Doomsday but this is the first time that we have seen him in a Marvel project, albeit just the back of his cloaked head in the shared image.

This will be the perfect way to tie in his appearance in Avengers: Doomsday when it arrives in cinemas in December 2026.
Until then, fans have taken to Reddit to share their thoughts about his surprise cameo.
“Doom’s face is usually heavily disfigured so if Franklin isn’t freaking out then RDJ’s face must be intact and he truly is a variant of Tony,” user HearTheEkko shared.
Love the comic accurate mask btw.”

Another user shared, “Pretty f**king eerie, but it kinda deflates it knowing it's RDJ.”
Our very own Ewan Moore was lucky enough to watch The Fantastic Four: First Steps earlier this week and regarded the movie as “the F4 movie I’ve waited my whole life for”.
“Fantastic Four: First Steps is near-enough everything I’ve ever wanted from a Fantastic Four movie,” his review reads.
“It’s a big, epic, heartfelt adventure driven by four stars at the top of their game. I can’t wait till the next time we all get to hang out.”
