We’ve become so used to seeing Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool - and as the anti-hero prepares to step fully into the MCU, fans have wondered who else could play the role if Reynolds decided to step away.

This is pushed further by other Redditors mentioning Ryan Reynold's good friend, “Rob McElhenney,” who certainly has the skills, though he’d perhaps make for a good variant of Deadpool, alongside Reynolds.
There’s no doubting that Reynolds has been the perfect Deadpool, though, with one fan noting, “Ryan was obviously the best choice.”
