Interesting question, before we get into the answer; who do you think the strongest member of the Avengers is?
At this point in time, you’d be hard pressed to find a popular Marvel comic book hero who hasn’t been a member of the Avengers yet.
I mean c’mon, when they’re accepting the likes of 3-D Man and Darkhawk, characters that I doubt even James Gunn would think to feature in one of his films, you know they’re not exactly strict about the entry requirements.
So, who we thinking? Thor seems like a safe bet. Scarlet Witch has gotta be up there. Captain Marvel would definitely be in the running. Captain Universe was a member of the Avengers once too, which seems sort of ridiculous now that I think about it.

Seems Marvel is ready to answer the question for you though, and they think the answer is pretty straightforward: it’s the Hulk.
As revealed in an article by ComicBook's Marcus Helminiak, Hulk: Smash Everything, a new mini series written by Ryan North and drawn by Vincenzo Carratù, is set to drop in December... and they're planning on going all in on this one.
“Hulk’s breathtaking battles will escalate wildly across the series, until Hulk finds himself battering his way through the cosmos and beyond the very limits of reality!” reads the press release on Marvel’s official site.
“A guaranteed smash hit! Is Hulk really the strongest there is? Sure, he’s stronger than most people…but is he really stronger than everything? Dinosaurs? Planets? Gravity? Cosmic forces?”

The funny thing is, if you’ve only ever seen the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, you might think that the Hulk being the strongest Avenger is ridiculous, especially when the films see him square off against the likes of Thor, Iron Man and Thanos… only to kind of get his ass handed to him.
In the comics though, the Hulk really is something else. This guy has needed basically every single superhero on the planet to team up just so they could take him down on multiple occasions.
Here’s hoping that Hulk: Smash Everything is as wild as Marvel is setting it up to be, because I’d love to see Hulk somehow defeat gravity.
