Marvel fans roasting the MCU's new 'Avengers' line-up

The fans have much to say

Now that all the Marvel shock reveals have settled down (for now), fans are ready to roast the new “Avengers” roster.

A lot of information has been thrown our way by Marvel recently.

From the dramatic San Diego Comic Con reveal, to discovering that Robert Downey Jr is officially returning as Iron Man, a lot has happened over the last month.

Finally able to catch our breaths, Marvel fans have decided it’s all been a little too nice around here.

Cue lots of jokes pointed directly at the Thunderbolts* line-up.

The trailer for the upcoming film was originally shown at Comic Con but has now been leaked online.

If the next wave of MCU films are as amazing as Avengers: Endgame, we're in for a treat

As you’d expect, the quality is poor, so if you find said leak, we’d suggest waiting rather than watching it.

Besides, these quips from Reddit will tell you all you need to know about MCU’s new Avengers.

“Lmao Bucky does not want to be there,” posted meme_abstinent after seeing the leaked trailer stills.

Further down in the comments, fans spoke of the “downgrade” poor Bucky has suffered.

User Gamesasahobby said, “My guy was fighting alongside the Avengers. This is a downgrade, to say the least.”

It isn’t just the characters who are being analysed here but the costumes, as well.

“When you see the anti-hero/tragic villain characters together, it really shows the MCU’s grey panelled costume problem,” pointed out leos-rdt, “Where is the fun of the comics?”

There is a lot of grey and muted colours.

“TASKMASTER LOOKS HORRIBLE!! Holy sh*t,” remarked another. We’re not sure if this shade is being thrown at just the costume or the character design in general.

Amongst the various jokes of “it’s a phase”, obviously directed at Bucky, there are some who are excited for the film.

Perhaps once the official trailer airs rather than a sneaky recording of it, fans will feel differently about this MCU line-up.

We can but hope, folks.
