Invincible season 2 will soon land on Amazon Prime Video and already scored an impressive 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

It’s been a good two years since the first season of Invincible premiered on Amazon Video, which brought laughs, tears, and plenty of gore, much of which shocked even their most stoic of viewers.

Check out the trailer for season 2 below

The show has now been catapulted into immense fame and popularity amongst fans, so much so that its antagonist Omni-Man will soon join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster as DLC. He’ll go head-to-head with Homelander from The Boys, who many agree he’d easily demolish, as well as DC’s Peacemaker, which would yield the same outcome.

Back to season 2 of Invincible though, the show promises a spectacular second season. The Rotten Tomatoes score is a perfect example, hitting a 100% rating despite not officially being out yet. This score is purely based on critic reviews, but it’s more than likely fans will enjoy it just as much.

Invincible’s second season will follow Mark and the rest of the planet, as they come to terms with Omni-Man’s devastating betrayal, which saw him kill several superheroes, as well as tear apart a city in a battle with his son

Naturally, all eyes are now on Invincible in case he decides to follow in his father’s footsteps, leading to his superhero actions being kept on a very short leash. Not much else is known, but we do know Mark’s going to be doing a lot of soul-searching, and potentially come face to face with his father again.

The cast will include returning actors like Steven Yeun as Mark Grayson/Invincible, J.K. Simmons as Omni-Man, Sandra Oh as Debbie Grayson and more, whilst also adding new actors to the mix, like Jay Pharoah, Ben Schwartz and the legendary Peter Cullen.

Invincible season 2 will debut on Amazon Prime Video on 3 November.
