The creator of Invincible recently sat down with The Boys producers, with both agreeing Omni-Man would destroy Homelander in a fight. Both supervillains will soon go head-to-head in Mortal Kombat 1, as both were confirmed to be upcoming DLC fighters, with fans getting their first-look at Omni-Man’s gameplay a few days ago.

Check out the new Omni-Man gameplay below!

Now fans have been debating who would actually win if the pair of supervillains got into a scrap, with Omni-Man coming out on top every single time.

This has since been backed by the creator’s of Invincible and The Boys, who reportedly sat down recently and agreed Omni-Man would demolish Homelander in a fight, and it’s not even close.

The news was shared on Twitter by @CultureCrave, who added: “Not even a debate and hasn't been for a while. Robert Kirkman adds that Invincible in his current state in the show would have a tough time with Homelander.”

It makes complete sense too. While Homelander is the most powerful super-person in The Boys, he’s fairly inexperienced when it comes to actually fighting anyone, mainly because he’s never had to go all-out against a real threat. Omni-Man on the other hand has fought off members of his own race, who aren’t pushovers, and conquered entire planets, so he’s more than experienced when it comes to combat.

Fans were in total agreement, with many saying Homelander lacks the experience to pose any kind of threat to Omni-Man, meaning he’d get destroyed almost immediately.

“I agree because Homelander still got a soft spot deep but Omni-man has a mission to conquer built into his DNA”

“Omniman would just snap Homelander in half.”

“Omni-Man has been alive WAY longer than Homerlander, Homelander probably never trained how to fight a day in his life, just used his strength and abilities to intimidate his opponents.”

It won’t be long before we can finally see the two villains clash in Mortal Kombat 1, when they officially join the roster as DLC fighters, though specific release dates haven’t been shared as of yet.
