The PlayStation 5 has finally dropped in price

Currently, Disc Edition PS5s bundled with God of War Ragnarök are being sold for an amazing discounted price.

No new games console ever comes cheap, but if you’ve been waiting for the PS5 to drop to a discounted price, now might be the time to strike.

Even though it’s been out for over two years, Sony’s new-gen console has - for the most part - only gotten more expensive. Officially, at least. Now that they’re easier to come by, the horrendous scalped prices are finally a thing of the past, but in many countries last year (including the UK, Canada, Australia and Japan), the PS5 received an RRP increase, which seriously sucked for anyone who hadn’t managed to buy one yet.

The PS VR2 released last month exclusively for PS5 owners - take a look at our review below.

However, as Trusted Reviews reports, in the UK, the BT Store is currently offering a limited-time deal to grab the Disc Edition of the console with God of War Ragnarök for a sweet price. At the time of writing, customers can buy the Ragnarök bundle for £499.99 - a significant saving from the usual £539.99 price. While the deal does mean that you have to buy Kratos’ latest adventure to secure the console, it’s a title that should be on every PS5 owner’s ‘must play’ list anyway, so you can’t really go wrong.

If you’re willing to pay a bit more for some extra overall savings, you can choose to buy an additional DualSense controller along with your bundle. Buying the two together will make the controller cost £39.99, which is around £25 less than usual. Currently, it appears that the only choice is the Cosmic Red controller - these usually cost around £5 more than the black and white ones, so it’s an extra spicy deal.

Given how good of a deal this is, you should act fast if you want to buy one of these things. At the time of writing, everything is still in stock, but don’t delay - take a look at the offer here.
