The mysterious Game Awards statue continues to baffle the gaming world and with it now making its way to Los Angeles, the questions continue.
First teased by Geoff Keighley back on 29 November, the demonic statue has been the subject of mystery since it appeared in the middle of the desert.
Consisting of multiple carvings including that of a crocodile, bear, skulls, ghouls and what looks like pieces of armour, the statue’s true identity will be revealed during 11 December’s The Game Awards.
However, as you can imagine, gamers have been eager to work out its true meaning ahead of the event and over time, multiple options have been ruled out.

This includes Saros, Elden Ring, Bloodborne, The Witcher, Diablo, God of War, The Elder Scrolls, and Lords of the Fallen. With all of these titles and franchises ruled out, the mystery continues.
Now it seems as though the infamous statue has now made its way to Los Angeles as shared by Andy McNamara over on Twitter.

Standing in all its glory, complete with a glowing red eye at the centre, the statue has found a new home and with The Game Awards just around the corner, we are finally on the homestretch of finding out what it actually means.
Another Name Is Now In the Running
In recent hours, a new name has entered the fray: Divinity Original Sin 3.
According to Spanish Youtuber and leaker Extas1s, Keighley’s mysterious statue relates to the reveal of Divinity Original Sin 3.
With the same creators as Baldur’s Gate 3, this would indeed be an epic reveal.
As Larian Studios’ major RPG before its success with Baldur’s Gate 3, the Divinity Original Sin series kicked off back in 2002 with its most recent entry, Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition, launching in 2017.
According to Larian’s CEO Swen Vincke, its next project will be “crazy ambitious” and, as a result, may not launch until at least 2028/2029. Could this be related to the mysterious statue?
It remains to be seen but with The Game Awards kicking off on 11 December, there are mere days left until we find out for good.
However, with the statue now finding its new home in LA, we can only imagine the rumours that are going to be swirling ahead of the big day.
