Still digesting all of yesterday’s reveals? Don’t worry. Us too. In case you missed it, Nintendo finally unveiled the title for the upcoming sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild. Then Sony dropped a new God of War Ragnarök story trailer, plus revealed a very spooky-looking PlayStation exclusive Hogwarts Legacy quest. There were plenty of new IPs unveiled too, including Rise Of The Ronin and Pacific Drive, the latter of which we’ll digest together right now.

Check out the trailer for Pacific Drive below.

Pacific Drive is the first game from the newly formed Ironwood Studios. A mix between S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Forza Horizon, Pacific Drive is a run-based first-person driving survival game which is due to land on PlayStation 5 and PC in 2023. So yes, it’s looking like this will be a new-gen exclusive.

In Pacific Drive, you’ll be tasked with surviving the Olympic Exclusion Zone. The official synopsis reads, “In 1955, the United States government seized a region of the Pacific Northwest by eminent domain. The Olympic Peninsula became the staging ground for promising new technologies, but these utopian creations came at great cost: severe radiation, environmental collapse, and supernatural horrors. The government walled off the area and established the Olympic Exclusion Zone. What happened inside was never disclosed.”

Intrigued by this, players will venture inside in an attempt to uncover the zone’s mysteries. Naturally, things go awry - as you can see in the trailer. The devs teased, “Remember to keep your eyes on the road, the woods are deep – and not entirely empty.” I’m sold.
