Nintendo has just dropped the final wave of limited-time Super Mario Galaxy freebies, all yours for the taking.
With The Super Mario Galaxy Movie becoming the highest-grossing film of the year so far, Nintendo has been celebrating the release with several waves of free downloads for Switch and Switch 2 users.
Those on Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 are able to check out these freebies and redeem as many as they want, though be warned they’re only available for a limited time.
As shared by NSO Icon Alerts, a social media account dedicated to alerting users about new icons on Nintendo Switch Online, the final batch of new avatar icons are now available for all to claim.

This wave includes fresh icons for characters like Mario, Rosalina, Luigi, and Bowser Jr, with many appearing in alternate costumes and designs.
Alongside that, you can also grab new frames and backgrounds which are also themed after various Super Mario Galaxy designs, including some locations from both games.
In total, there are 17 new icons, 10 backgrounds, and 5 frames for you to pick up.
If you’d like to pick up these icons for yourself, be sure to boot up your Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 device and head to the Nintendo Switch Online app on the home screen.
Once it’s loaded, go to ‘Missions & Rewards’ and find the corresponding Super Mario Galaxy icons which are available to pick up.
Each icon costs 10 Platinum Points each, which you can grab by completing various tasks across your Nintendo Switch Online account, such as playing a certain game online or doing something specific in the app.
Meanwhile, backgrounds and frames are a little cheaper at 5 Platinum Points each, so you’ll need around 245 Platinum Points in total to be able to grab everything in this new bundle.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie released in cinemas earlier this month, and became the most successful film of the year so far, grossing $833 million at the Box Office on a budget of $110 million.
Starring Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Benny Safdie, Donald Glover, and Brie Larson, the film is a loose adaptation of both Super Mario Galaxy games, which were re-released on Nintendo Switch last October.
