Stranger Things Star In Talks For New Star Wars Show, Says Insider

There could be yet another Star Wars show in the pipeline starring a major Stranger Things star.

Admittedly, Star Wars never really experiences too much of a lull but right now, it’s everywhere I look - and I’m not mad about it at all. Today, Obi-Wan Kenobi drew to a close but there’s plenty of Star Wars viewing just around the corner. Star Wars: Andor debuts on 31 August and The Mandalorian returns for its third season in February.

That’s not all. Ashoka, Skeleton Crew, Rangers of the New Republic, and The Acolyte are all in development. Apparently, that’s not enough though as there may be yet another series in the works with a Stranger Things star set to lead it.

Next up on the roster is Star Wars: Andor. Check out the trailer below ahead of the show’s premiere on 31 August.

It looks like Millie Bobby Brown could soon appear in the Star Wars universe. According to The Mirror, the actress is in “informal” talks with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy regarding potentially starring in a Disney Plus Star Wars series.

A source told The Mirror, “Millie is on Disney’s radar for new Star Wars projects. She’s had contact with Kathleen, who is aware of her desire to feature in a movie or play a central role in one of the new TV projects for Disney Plus. The Disney executives know just how much of an icon she is already for the 10 to 30-year-old audience and what that brings in terms of appeal. She could easily take home $15 million for a first film or series.”

The source went on to add, “And she doesn’t need to audition – it’s more a case of how the director and her bond. She has the gravitas to hold down the lead for that universe.”

Best known for playing Eleven in Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown certainly is a talented actress. It’s wild to think that she was just 12 when the show’s first season was filmed. A Star Wars series led by the actress could be really special but as with any rumour, this has to be taken with a pinch of salt for now.
