Star Wars reunites Luke and Han in teaser for new series

Star Wars icons Luke Skywalker and Halo Solo join forces once more, in an epic new release that we need right now.

Other than telling great stories of good versus evil, the Star Wars franchise is packed full of beloved characters, whether they’re leading roles or just in the background, such as Boba Fett in Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, before becoming more mainstream.

That being said, without the likes of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca and Yoda, to name a few, the Star Wars franchise may not have evolved into the goliath it is now.

Outside of the legendary movie franchise, there are plenty of other forms of Star Wars media to enjoy, such as TV series on Disney Plus, video games, board games and much more.

For years, the Star Wars franchise has also had a plethora of comic book adaptations, and an upcoming release sees Luke Skywalker and Han Solo team up again.

As brought to our attention by the Twitter account ‘Star Wars Holocron’, issue six of Star Wars also sees the duo team up with the infamous bounty hunter, Beilert Valance.

“New Republic on the brink of war! Luke, Han and Valance face off against a swarm of Clone War-era threats! Princess Leia plays the only card she has left against the mounting threat,” reads the synopsis of issue six. “Rynn Zenat discovers a clue that sheds light on the struggles of the mysterious Nagai!”

“Harkens back to when Han and Luke wore Stormtrooper armour in the original film when rescuing Leia on the Death Star,” said benoski73, replying to the tweet from ‘Star Wars Holocron’.

Star Wars #6 is written by Alex Segura with the artwork created by Phil Noto. It is currently scheduled to be released in December this year, both in physical and digital form.
