Star Wars might be moving forward with yet another sequel trilogy but chances are it’s going to revisit the Age Of The Empire again at some point, and when it does it needs some recasts.
Seeing Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and the late Carrie Fisher reprise their roles in the sequel trilogy was wonderful but with plenty more films on the way, it’s pretty clear new actors will have to step into their shoes eventually as those inevitable flashbacks appear.
For Luke Skywalker, many want Sebastian Stan to inherit the lightsaber, but for Leia Organa, there are plenty of choices to consider.

One you don’t see getting thrown around a lot though is Tatiana Maslany, who you probably know from playing Jen Walters/She-Hulk in the MCU.
If you haven’t seen it, there’s a video online of Maslany taking part in an improv show where they’re reenacting Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
Maslany plays Leia and it’s comedy gold, so be sure to check out the whole thing when you’ve got a second.
It’s been shared on Reddit and surprisingly enough, a lot of people praised her performance even though it was more comedy than actual drama. “Thanks, not only was Maslany doing a bang up job but I love Zac Oyama,” said one commenter.

Another praised her role in She-Hulk, saying, “Tatiana has been great in everything she's done and is such an unabashedly genuine soul. Marvel better bring back She-Hulk in some form.”
“I would 100% watch Tatiana Maslany play EVERY character in a one woman stage performance of Star Wars,” said one more.
I don’t think Disney is going to be calling her up to play Leia anytime soon but if they did, I wouldn’t mind.
Personally, I’d rather future Star Wars projects leave the OG characters in the past but it’s Disney we’re talking about; it needs those legacy characters for nostalgia purposes.
