MCU fans torn over She Hulk season 2 tease

Personally, I'm not too sure about the direction Disney wants to take this in...

One of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s producers, who served as the executive producer on the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, has revealed their hopes for a second season of the She-Hulk TV series… and fans’ opinions are somewhat divided on the idea.

During an interview with the MCU producer, Comicbook.com asked Wendy Jacobson if there were any hopes for a second season of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and what a second season would even focus on if there was.

“I don’t know the answer to that question… I mean, if we’re doing more She-Hulk… What I love about She-Hulk is just kind of being in this character’s everyday life… oh, she just happens to also be able to turn into a Hulk”, Jacobson revealed.

“There’s also a run in the comics where she goes into space and she’s adjudicating cases for the Living Tribunal. So, I either want to be super, super grounded in L.A. or I want to take her out into the multiverse, or into the universe.”

Over on the r/shehulk subreddit, fans aren’t too keen on the idea of seeing She-Hulk be swept up into a multiversal storyline.

“If we do get a She-Hulk season 2 my one big thing is it's more like the old school comics of the Sensational She-Hulk run of the '90s”, commented user One_Hyena4646.

“I really don't see them doing a season 2 anytime soon if ever. But if the MCU could return to it's former glory and have more movies and series knocking it out of the park, there'd be a good chance for another series or at the very least having She-Hulk show up in a movie”, replied user draxxartist.

“The first She-Hulk series was good but the thing that worked against it was it just cost so much to make and the type of humor they went for didn't resonate with a lot of people. It was too different and lots of people simply didn't get it.”

As someone who was a fan of the first season of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, I kinda agree with what the fans are saying.

I did enjoy the run in the comics that Jacobson is referring to, but (if we do get a second season of the show) I’d prefer it to be a lot more grounded.

I mean, that way she might have more of a chance to run into Daredevil again…
