'Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order' Sequel Has A Name, And It's Badass

He's a survivor

The long-awaited sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order may finally have its title, according to Grubbsnax host Jeff Grubb.

We were certainly hoping that the team at Respawn Entertainment would have something a little more exciting than Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 up its sleeve, and sure enough the follow-up to their 2019 adventure game has a pretty badass title that teases an even darker, tenser story.

Before we move on, take a look at the fancy new Star Wars hotel below!

During the May 12, 2022 Grubbsnax episode, one viewer incredibly managed to guess the title of the sequel in a guessing game that Grubb decided to play with his chat. One the correct guess was thrown out there, Grubb asked if someone had told them what it was before confirming that he'd also heard sequel is indeed called Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

That's a pretty killer name, and one that definitely leans into the darker period of Star Wars history that protagonist Cal Kestis finds himself.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order takes place in the early years of the Empire's reign, and several years after the vast majority of Jedi were wiped out by Order 66. The first game's story obviously sees Cal come out of hiding to embark on a Jedi quest, but it's not long before he comes face-to-face with Darth Vader and is forced to go on the run once again.

By the first game's end there's a very real target on Cal's back, arguably making him the most-wanted Jedi in the galaxy. Survival will most certainly be the order of the day, in other words.

There's no release date for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor just yet, but the game is expected to launch in the first half of 2023. It's also believed that the sequel - and it's swish new title title - will be officially announced during the Star Wars Celebration later this month.
