There’s no shortage of Star Wars content right now. Obi-Wan Kenobi is nearing the end of its six-episode run, Star Wars: Andor is just a few months away and after that, it’ll soon be time for The Mandalorian’s third season. Nice.
That being said, Star Wars fans are always looking for ways to bring back even more of their favourite characters and one incredible Lando Calrissian series idea has really taken the internet by storm.

Reddit user GetBillDozed took to the r/StarWars subreddit to share his genius idea which would see the series include both Billy Dee Williams and Donald Glover. Episodes would look back at various entertaining moments throughout Lando’s life, switching between Glover’s young Lando and Williams’ version in the present day.

GetBillDozed wrote, “I want a Lando Calrissian TV series in which each episode starts out With Billy Dee Williams playing Cards in a dive cantina with some of the finest scum and villainy before telling a story and Donald Glover takes over as young Lando enacting the story.”
He went on, “Occasionally, [he’d be] interrupted by people at the table saying it didn’t go that way or Billy is embellishing. [It would] have Billy Dee be the Narrator. I think this could be a great vehicle for exploring the gritty underworld of Star Wars. I think Glover and Billy Dee Williams both have so much natural charisma. They would do a fantastic job telling a story together.”
How incredible does that sound? Someone at Lucasfilm needs to hire this person right now. Responding to the post, fans had some entertaining name ideas for the pretend series including Keeping Up With The Calrissians, The Landolorian, A Lando Before Time, and Lando: Hope and Glory. I do love the internet. I’m sold already.
