Warning: This article contains spoilers for the first three episodes of Star Wars: Andor.
Yesterday was certainly a treat for Star Wars fans. Six years after the release of Rogue One, Star Wars: Andor finally debuted on Disney+ with a three-episode premiere. Already, Andor has a higher critical rating than Rogue One. In our review, we quite agreed with the praise, writing, “Andor is Disney Plus’ best Star Wars show to date, and fans of Rogue One will not be disappointed by what is a worthy prequel. By exploring new pockets of the Star Wars galaxy, Andor avoids the pitfalls of several other recent franchise entries.” Fans are thrilled about one thing in particular though and it’s not what you’d expect.
We sat down with Diego Luna to chat about all things Andor. Take a look below.
Early on, we’re introduced to Timm Karlo (portrayed by James McArdle). Now, Timm is in a relationship with Bix Caleen (Adria Arjona), who is a friend and ally of Cassian Andor (Diego Luna). The problem is Timm isn’t too keen on the pair’s friendship, so when the authorities begin searching for someone who matches Cassian’s description, Timm dobs him in. Long story short, when the Pre-Mor Authority comes to find Andor, Timm gets shot for obstructing their path to Bix. The thing is, as reported by Comic Book, fans are pretty thrilled about this.

Andorisms wrote, “So can we all agree Timm got what he deserved,” while thegreattwig25 added, “If Timm has a million haters, I’m one of them. If he has a 1000 haters, I’m still one of them. If he has one hater, it’s me. If Timm has 0 haters, it means I have left this world. If the world is against Timm then I am with the world.” Dramatic. I like it.
Temporarycopium said, “The writers killing off Timm and making sure he can’t be with Bix was peak writing.” Kaminoverse observed, “Andor is so unrealistic cause how tf did Timm bag her.” Johanirae wrote, “Timm, you brought this upon yourself, idiot.” Check out a few more of our favourite reactions below.
Poor Timm. Admittedly, I am glad Bix and Cassian can pursue their intense chemistry but still, sad way to go. RIP Timm.
