Star Wars fans are torn over who the strongest character in the saga is.
Star Wars, particularly with regards to the films and shows that form the Skywalker Saga, is home to a lot of different powerful characters.
The question of who the most powerful character in Star Wars is crops up from time to time, with many fans giving different answers and opinions based on a variety of factors.
For example, many might say that Anakin, Luke, or Yoda can take the mantle of strongest character. However, there are others to consider too.

One fan in particular has posited that Rey from the sequel trilogy is the strongest Star Wars character.
“She defeated Palpatine who is considered as the strongest character in Star Wars,” a user posted on the Star Wars Reddit page. “So she is the strongest?”
“I don’t know. I think technically she is,” writes one user in the comments section. “She also defeats him by just reflecting lightning so idk what that means.”
“I have to think that the Call to All the Jedi is not something that is easy to do in terms of force strength and focus, so I do think Rey does have strong force abilities and the potential,” another comment wrote. “But she certainly needed all the Jedi to defeat Palpatine. Calling her the strongest is a stretch for me.”

Another fan put forth a theory: “No, but as a conduit of every Jedi she didn't have to be. She was the right person at the right time to stop the Dark Side from fully returning. While Anakin brought balance and is therefore the strongest, Rey was more of a balance keeper maintaining that balance (though it was a struggle, many died and it was a close call).”
I guess the debate lives on, forever cursed to haunt online message boards and YouTube comments sections.
Many seem to agree that Anakin is the strongest Star Wars character, but I think there’s enough leeway here to create some interesting discourse.
