Star Wars fans realise 1 actor has been in every single movie, including spinoffs

I could have sworn he isn't in one of the spin-offs, but apparently I was wrong

Star Wars fans are only just finding out that one actor has somehow managed to appear in literally every single live-action film in the franchise, including the Disney spin-offs.

I’d wager that if you’re a big old Star Wars nerd, you’re reading the title of this article and thinking “A-ha! Actually, you idiot, the actor YOU’RE thinking of doesn’t actually appear in one of the spin-offs!”

Well, what if I told you that, actually, they do– they just aren’t playing the character you normally associate them with.

In a thread over on the r/StarWars subreddit, one user posed the question “Was Ian McDiarmid (Darth Sideous) the only actor who’s been in all 3 trilogies?”

The answer to that question is… no! There is at least one more actor who has appeared in every Star Wars trilogy.

“Anthony Daniels has appeared as C3PO in every movie in the saga, except for Solo” commented user tyrantdino.

“He does appear in Solo! But it's really hard to catch", replied user KamionBen.

“Just to be clear, he doesn't appear as C3PO, but as a random miner that escape with the wookies, he even has a line.”

Now I don’t know why this rumour that Anthony Daniels never actually appeared in Solo: A Star Wars Story came from, because it’s so widely believed that even I was incorrectly under the assumption that it was true.

Perhaps it’s simply been misconstrued with the fact that C3PO doesn’t actually appear in the film, which marks the only live-action Star Wars film where the character doesn’t appear.

This was going to be the case for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story too, until a last minute change added C3PO into the film for a small cameo.

Kinda funny to think about, but I guess this sort of makes Anthony Daniels the Star Wars version of the MCU’s Stan Lee. Here’s hoping they make sure to continue this tradition for both The Mandalorian & Grogu and Star Wars: Starfighter.
