Sony is planning a brand-new trilogy of Spider-Man films with Tom Holland once again donning the webs, according to a new report.
While last year's Spider-Man: No Way Home left the door open for further adventures with Holland's version of the webslinger, the man himself has been a little cagey about whether or not he's willing to commit to another movie - let alone a whole new trilogy.
According to Jeff Sneider at The Ankler, Sony is intent on inviting Holland back for at least three more films, although it sounds like the actor has yet to agree.

"I don't believe he has actually signed a deal yet, so those plans remain unofficial for now. That said, I'm sure that more Spidey adventures with Holland are a top priority," Sneider said.
Longtime Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal indicated ahead of No Way Home's release that a new trilogy was a sure thing, before later walking back her comments after Holland poured cold water on the idea.
"We've had conversations about the potential future of Spider-Man, but at the moment they are conversations," the actor told EW earlier this year. "We don't know what the future looks like."
Of course, given the fact that No Way Home has raked in nearly $2billion worldwide, with a September re-release still to come, I would imagine Sony is willing to put any amount of money on the table to get Holland back for more adventures.

As for whether Holland's Spidey will continue to feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and play into Kevin Feige's Phase 4 plans? Well, that all remains to be seen. Personally, I sincerely hope we've yet to see the last of Tom Holland as our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
