From different armour to weapons, skills to potions, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is full to the brim with things to try out which is one of the main reasons the Bethesda RPG has such high playability.

However, what if there was a way to try out every feature of the game before heading in?

Check out the official trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim below!

Well, much like every other Bethesda title, that is indeed possible thanks to a developer room found within The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Located once the player has typed ‘coc QASmoke’ into the developer console, the room is full to the brim with ways to explore every aspect of the game.

In this room, you will find every weapon, armour piece, various NPCs and more and it is clear that this was used as a way for developers to test everything before they fully entered the game.

Every chest in the room is dedicated to items that belong in a particular category and this ranges from weapons to quest items.

As a result, you are gaining access to thousands of items so be aware that if you try to take everything, Skyrim may crash.

Purchasing DLCs such as Dawnguard and Dragonborn will add brand-new rooms to explore which are, of course, full of the expansion items and each developer room includes a crafting station where you can test out your arcane skills without wasting ingredients.

The dev room also includes some cut content and items such as Nord Hero Arrows which were never added to the game. However, you can try them out in the secret room.

On top of testing weapons and potions, you can also explore other dev rooms ranging from ones that allow you to test dialogue, the main menu, and even the ‘coc WIDeadBodyCleanupCell’.

This is perhaps the most interesting as it allows you to view all of the NPCs you have killed throughout your Skyrim playthrough.

I’m not sure why you would want to do this, but the offer is there!

It is no surprise that many fans believe this developer room to be cheating but there is no denying that it is a cool place to explore once in a while.
