Skyrim's massive Lordbound expansion finally launching with 60 hours of new content

Skyrim's massive Lordbound expansion finally launching with 60 hours of new content

Get ready for Skyrim's largest expansion to date

Fans of Skyrim are in for a treat with the RPG’s most detailed expansion yet set to release very soon, adding 60 hours of new content for absolutely free.

First announced back in 2014, Lordbound is a mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim which adds a “massive story-focused expansion with 60+ hours of original content”. So, as you can see, this isn’t just any old mod.

Check out the inspiration for Lordbound below with the official The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim trailer!

Set to be Skyrim’s largest expansion to date, Lordbound adds a brand-new region, three faction questlines, 40+ non-linear quests, 50+ dungeons, new weapons/armour and more.

Not only that but Lordbound will also feature a thrilling story with the official synopsis reading: “The drums of war are beating inside the Druadach Valley. After two hundred years of isolation the valley has restored its severed connections to the provinces of Skyrim and High Rock, exposing its withered remains to the rest of Tamriel.

Chief Gorek of Garshakur refuses to surrender his mountain fortress to the Imperial Legion, denying them control of the highly-valued trade route between the cities of Jehanna and Solitude.

As the war wages on, the people of Druadach are forced to seek protection within the walls of Highreach, home of the young Lord Haelan - but even the last bastion of Druadach is threatening to fall at the hands of a mysterious knight of unknown origin, leaving only death in its wake.

Whatever the choices are in the end, the fate of the valley rests in the hands of champions; both new and old.”

As well as an exciting new story, Lordbound also includes “the biggest main quest you've ever played in Skyrim, with choices and consequences that change the state of the valley.”

This comes alongside fully-voiced NPCs and an original soundtrack. No wonder it has been in development for 10 years!

Lordbound is set to receive a release date very soon so make sure you stay up to date with the project if you wish to get involved.
