Skyrim has 1 final hidden challenge you never knew existed

How did we miss this?

News may have officially broken this week surrounding the long-rumoured The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remaster but in the meantime, there are still secrets to be found hidden throughout Skyrim.

Yesterday saw developer Virtuous Games finally confirm the highly-anticipated The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remaster by posting a series of screenshots of the Unreal Engine 5 makeover to its official website.

Check out the official trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim below!

Not only, but with insiders believing Oblivion could be released as early as 21 April, it is exciting times for The Elder Scrolls fans.

However, that does not mean that fans are about to abandon The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim entirely anytime soon, especially as one dedicated player has revealed an interesting challenge that many players originally missed out on.

The hidden challenge was mentioned in a thread over on r/skyrim after one original post asked for “the single most obscure/hidden/least known THING in Skyrim.”

The post asked for any secret quests, items, NPCs, locations, or buildings that are easily missed and it wasn’t long before fans were happy to help with their own discoveries found over the last decade.

However, one of the most interesting comments belonged to user Coschta who pointed out ‘the dead body clean-up room’.

They were referring to the developer room which hosts all of the dead bodies you manage to rack up during your Skyrim playthrough.

On top of that, Coschta also mentioned a challenge that many players have yet to take on.

“For actual places to go without console commands, I suggest climbing the four hidden peaks in Solstheim.

There are four peaks that reveal markers on the map only once you reach the very top.

The climb is very risky and definitely a challenge.”

We won’t spoil what happens here but it is definitely worth checking out, especially as a fellow Reddit user admitted that they have over 1000 hours in Skyrim and did not know that this existed.

So it is time to get climbing! With or without your horse, that is.
