Red Dead Redemption 2 players stunned by incredible new post-game content discovery

Red Dead Redemption 2 players stunned by incredible new post-game content discovery

Another heartbreaking discovery

It is time to get those tissues ready once again as despite Red Dead Redemption 2 being 6-years old, it is still managing to hit us in the feels.

Released back in 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2 has gone on to cement itself as one of the best RPGs of all time. Praised for its fun cowboy-esque gameplay, heaps of features and an incredible narrative, Rockstar really gave it all it got for the Red Dead Redemption sequel.

Check out the launch trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 below!

As we all know, the end of Red Dead Redemption 2 saw us say goodbye to our main character, Arthur Morgan as he passes away from tuberculosis (or a gunshot wound if you managed to end at low honour).

With the reins being handed over to John Marston to close off the story, we see the protagonist from the first game as he honours his friend but players may have spotted another heartwarming moment.

Upon returning to Horseshoe Overlook, where the gang stayed for some time during the beginning of the game, one user over on r/reddeadredemption came face to face with a deer.

However, this deer didn’t act like the others in the game and instead stood and looked at John, almost as if in greeting.

Of course, this could be a coincidence but it is worth noting that multiple people who ended Red Dead Redemption 2 with high honour also saw the very same deer. Plus, Arthur Morgan was also represented as the same animal.

Additionally, those who found themselves with low honour can remember encountering a coyote when visiting the scene so the deer could very well be Arthur coming to say a final good bye in one of the places it all began.

I told you it was heartbreaking!
